Yom Ha’atzmaut!
Commemorating the declaration of independence of Israel in 1948. Across Israel, events and celebrations take place to mark Independence – both on a national scale and on a more local scale, with almost every city, town, and village, having some sort of celebration.
Yom Haatzmaut is a real family day, and Israelis flock to Israel’s National Parks, hiking trails, and beauty spots, for barbecues and picnics.
Even greater still it is a day to recognize the great miracle of the rebirth of Israel as a nation! To this day it is a fulfillment of biblical promises that can be an encouragement to any believer in the G-d of Israel!
The ICEJ Canada would like to wish Israel a Yom Hatzmaut Sameach! Happy independence day Israel!
