Natasha Hausdorff a young British barrister, Int’l law specialist and pro bono legal director of the advocacy group UK Lawyers for Israel spoke in Toronto to a very large audience at BAYT Toronto last night. The event had tremendous community support and ICEJ Canada was one of many among Jewish organizations and charities.
Donna Holbrook introduced herself from ICEJ Canada at the VIP reception where upon Natasha gave her an immediate strong hug as she well knows of our staff and work in Israel from Jerusalem.
In her opening remarks she mentioned the International Christian Embassy as an example of an important ally of Israel and the Jewish people worldwide.
Her father was born in Tel Aviv and their family history of 8 generations in Israel.
She spoke passionately about the importance of speaking truth to the lies, accusations and hate not only of Jewish people but of the Jewish nation Israel. This is Antisemitism on all levels. Every day it gives her strength and purpose to talk and debate (she loves) this truth wherever she has opportunity. She stressed it is not too late for all of us to stand up and to push back on these falsehoods. Israel is fighting on 7 sides with the 8th being the media. She also states that Israel has witnessed many miracles. ICEJ worldwide has been praying for Israel every day since Oct 7th, 2023 the Nova Massacre and we continue to do so. God’s plans and purposes for this nation is secure.
Ms. Hausdorff finishes her time in Canada with her visit today to Parliament in Ottawa.
