A Shelter of Hope During the Feast of Tabernacles
During the 2026 Feast of Tabernacles in Israel, Kibbutz Usha held a special dedication ceremony to celebrate a new bomb shelter made possible by the generosity of ICEJ Canada and ICEJ Switzerland supporters. The shelter will provide vital protection for a special-needs daycare centre serving about 70 people each day, plus staff and nearby residents. More than a place of refuge, it stands as a tangible expression of Christian love, solidarity and commitment to Israel’s most vulnerable communities.

Canadian Generosity Brings Life-Saving Protection to Israel
Representatives of ICEJ Canada, Operation Lifeshield and the local community gathered to mark this meaningful occasion. The dedication reminds us that the faithful support of Canadian Christians is making a lasting difference in the lives of Israelis, bringing hope and a greater sense of security during challenging times.
