Who Is the Israel of God? | Dr. André Villeneuve

Dr. André Villeneuve examines the complex theological question, “Who is the Israel of God?” Drawing from Galatians 6:16, he explores how this phrase has been interpreted throughout Church history and how those interpretations have influenced supersessionism and replacement theology. Through a careful study of Paul’s writings, the original Greek text, early Christian sources, and modern Bible translations, Dr. Villeneuve evaluates the major theological positions surrounding this debated passage. He also considers the broader implications for understanding Israel, the Church, and the relationship between Christianity and Judaism. This in-depth presentation offers valuable insight for anyone interested in biblical theology, Pauline studies, and God’s enduring purposes for the Jewish people.
