Dear Friends,

You Are Invited!

We are honored to invite you to an evening of remembrance and reflection in Vancouver, British  Columbia, featuring Richard Lowy, a second generation Holocaust survivor.

This special evening marks the launch of Richard’s newly released book, Kalman & Leopold:  Surviving Mengele’s Auschwitz. Richard will share the powerful and deeply moving story captured  in his book, recounting the harrowing experiences of his father and his father’s friend, who endured  and survived the unimaginable atrocities of Auschwitz.

The evening will also include a candle-lighting ceremony to honor and remember the lives lost during  the Holocaust—a poignant moment of reflection and tribute to those who perished.

Event Details:

  • Date: January 27, 2025
  • Time: 6:30 pm Doors | 7 pm
  • Location will be provided when you register online.

We hope you will join us for this meaningful gathering to learn, remember, and ensure that the stories  of survival and resilience continue to inspire and educate future generations.

We look forward to seeing you there.

Warm regards,

Dina Kaufman
